Craig Brechler, PT
Craig Brechler, P.T. has training in sports medicine and treatment of orthopedic injuries, specifically for the spine and upper and lower extremities. He has practiced Physical Therapy in primary and specific orthopedics for his entire professional career. He has a very strong interest in performance assessment and improvement, and is proud to be a part of the progressive healing and educational environment at Elite. Craig has had a long term interest in Functional Medicine and Low Level Laser Therapy and its use in giving evidence based results with his plans of care. He received his Bachelor's degree in Public Health at Arizona State University. In 1996, he completed his post-graduate training at The University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. Craig enjoys a lifestyle of fitness and wellness and enjoys the Phoenix area for its outdoor recreation and great sports atmosphere. He enjoys water activities, strength training, hiking, and spending time with his family. In his spare time, he can be found at his church or spending time with his wife and three daughters.
Julie Nelson has been involved as a Chiropractic Assistant for nearly 20 years. She has been instrumental in the success of three clinics during this time; including working with Dr. Marcella Brechler at her clinic in Ames, Iowa. Her compassion and empathy for her clientele provides a personal touch to the clinic; a place where clients feel welcome, wanted and loved. She is also well versed in the complexities of insurance benefits. Julie is married to Matt Nelson and is the mother of four beautiful daughters. She enjoys spending her free time with her family, going on hikes, swimming and playing board games.
